About the event
Let's repurpose those fabric scraps and make this cool and trendy reversible bucket hat with its versatile unisex design featuring a downwards sloping brim with optional topstitching detail. We will go step by step through the process of cutting and assembling this hat. By the end of the class, you should have a completed bucket hat! Some sewing skills are necessary. Sewing machines and Interfacing/stabilizer will be provided. You must bring your own fabric and choice of thread. Supply List for class: Approx half a yard of fabric total. Two contrasting fabrics needed for class. (needs to have some thickness to it- aka not be flimsy - something like thick linen, denim, canvas, thick cotton, etc.) Fabric scissors - provided Pins and/or clips - provided Matching thread & bobbin - not provided Essentials bucket hat template/pattern (Pattern will be provided) Sewing Machine (provided or bring your own) If you own a machine that you would like to bring to class, it must be preapproved.
