Kate Rears is an extremely versatile musician based in the DMV. After returning to her native Arlington,VA she established herself as a premier rock bassist/singer in the area and has brought inventive counter melodies and harmonies to each stage and studio collaboration. She never abandoned her primary instrument (the cello) and continues to perform in local orchestras, small ensembles as well as for recording sessions along the East Coast.
