About the event
Have you always wanted to learn how to sew but don't know where to start?
In just one session, we'll walk you through the basics; with your newly acquired skills, you will be able to create a zippered cosmetic bag/or tool pouch.
Here's what we'll cover:
- Basic intro to a sewing machine, including how to sew a straight seam
- How to cut fabric accurately
- Pinning and sewing seams, understanding seam allowance
- Install a regular zipper
Leave class with an understanding of sewing fundamentals, and the knowledge to tackle more sewing projects on your own! Sewing machines and all supplies provided. If you own a machine that you would like to bring to class, it must be preapproved. Please email Evan Ibrahim at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the class with the model information.
